PERRAN gained revenge for their single goal defeat at St Just earlier this season.
"Honours are even" conceded visiting manager Steve Curnow, who praised the strength of Perranwell on their home pitch.
With three games in hand they could well end as league runners-up, but it was St Just who took the lead after 22 minutes following a right-wing attack by Tom Mannering who saw his cross end in a rebound with striker Stuart Nicholls slipping the ball past the keeper.
Scott Kinge, who was outstanding in the home midfield, levelled the scores before half-time with a header from a Mike Brewer free-kick just before the break. Later veteran defender Steve Allen scored with a powerful header following a Brewer corner and the lead was increased with a drive by Liam Paddick from the edge of the area.
St Just were not finished, however, and a throw-in by Mark Gendall found Nicholls, who squared along the box for Stefan Smith to score from eight yards.
The final home pair came from Matt Saunders with a 25-yard drive through a crowd of players and Brewer who finished off a five-man move 10 minutes from time.
Although missing some regular players, St Just had no excuses in defeat, with their players doing well, especially keeper Andrew Curnow whose splendid saves in the final stages denied further goals.
Nicholls always led the visiting attack with enthusiasm and Tim George and Chris Curnow had good games in the Tinners' midfield.
