On a perfect evening for football Helston took an early lead when Dom Pullen fired home from 8 yards before scott Kinge headed the equaliser and Ieuan Boon made it 2-1 with a fine shot from the edge of the box just before half time.

The 2nd half was only 3 minutes old when Liam Paddock swooped after a fine ball from Nigel Brabyn to make it 3-1 for the visitors. Perran were well in command and the home side rarely troubled stand in keeper dan Riley. ten minutes from time Kinge got his 2nd and perran's forth after a flowing move started by Matt Rose. Colin Kettle pulled a goal back for the home side but Perran fully deserved their win.
